PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT

NoBo Architecture is a local Waco firm, led by Principal Architect Desi Gallagher. Desi is a licensed Architect and has been practicing architecture for 15+ years in a variety of roles including design and management. She has worked on large scale projects with Community College Districts and Military (NAVFAC), guiding large teams through complicated approving agencies. She has the ability to navigate through entitlement and approval process, for multi-family projects. On the other hand, she has worked on smaller scale project, that provide intimate private spaces, that require a more relational type communication. At any scale, Desi believes relationships, communication, and working together as a team is key. As principal, she leads the team from conceptual design through construction of the project, and is engaged throughout the process. Desiree is a licensed Architect in Texas and California, and her experience is spread throughout a wide variety of building types from multi-family residential and commercial. Desi loves all things design, and her aspiration is to create thoughtful spaces that continue to tell stories, promote well- being and inspire.   NoBo is short for North Bound, architecture and life is a community effort, journeying toghether side by side. Desi is a follower of Jesus Chirst, is headed North Bound, and hopes you will journey with her in this short soujorn on earth. When not at her desk you can find Desi coaching some kind of sport, on date night with the hubs, planting and propagating in her garden, or chilling making connections with friends and family...and if there is time...hiking the local spots.  NoBo!
